Bob and Julie are a retired couple who live in a small community in the Bega Valley Shire, and are one of several cattle primary producers in the region. Bob, who suffers from chronic arthritis, faces the daily challenge of running a small property on 25 acres, whilst his wife Julie works in a shop in Bega to supplement their modest income from their 30 head of cattle.
Tragically, they lost their home, sheds, fences and cattle in the recent bushfires. Their insurance only covered the house, and they are unable to rebuild the fences to run any cattle.
Your generous tax-deductible donations will allow vital materials to be purchased and enable Connecting Communities Australia to mobilise skilled volunteers to help people like Bob and Julie rebuild and get back on their feet.
