Connecting Communities Australia is seeking donations to assist with rebuilding in the bushfire affected region of Bega Shire.
Your donations of $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000 and beyond help Connecting Communities Australia rebuild small settlements, getting property and business owners back on their feet fast.
Connecting Communities Australia is a direct action organisation that helps people living in regional, rural and remote communities recover after disaster. Focused on reestablishing communities, we lend a practical and helping hand to those who fall through the gaps of traditional safety net support systems when their enterprises are either too small or too isolated for mainstream assistance. We achieve this by working directly with communities and farmers in need of help.
Connecting Communities Australia brings hope to overlooked communities, helping them thrive again. Our skilled teams of volunteers and engineers and mechanics rebuild fences, reconnect water lines, restore sanitation facilities and clean up so that livelihoods and adequate living conditions are recovered.
Bega Valley Shire Bushfire Recovery
We aim to make a huge difference to small communities and farmers in the Bega Valley Shire of NSW who desperately require 100’s kms of their lands refenced to secure their stock and restore their livelihoods.
With equipment hire companies generously donating equipment to many stricken families throughout the region and Connecting Communities Australia ready to provide volunteer labour, we rely on your donations to buy fencing posts and wires and other essential recovery materials. Small hamlets like Pericoe await our help. Kiah in the Shire needs its community hall rebuilt and Wonboyn awaits the restoration of community infrastructure. Our plan is to reach out to other fire impacted communities across Australia over the next 12 months.
